Family archives

Recently been looking at my family's archives. My mum has always loved archiving and is responsible for making me want to archive my life when I was growing up (even though I was not familiar with this term in the past. She used to get us to take photos, videos and writing about our life at different time periods and doccument things like our local community and shops, our favourite things and keep memorabilia of things like tickets for shows or posters and keep them in files or books. I used to make casset tapes and video tapes.

My Nan used to do this too in various ways. My Granny had hundreds of photo albums and collections. I've started going through them and understanding what and why they wanted to make a record of these things.
